Unless otherwise stated at checkout, all other shipping fees are automatically calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. Payment for shipping is collected at checkout and represents the final shipping cost charged to the customer.
1. General
Alexander Sachs (“we”, “us”) operates (https://alexander-sachs.com/) (“the Website”).
By placing an order through our Website, you agree to the following terms. These conditions are designed to ensure clarity and mutual protection for both parties.
All orders are subject to stock availability. We make every effort to keep our stock levels accurate, but discrepancies may occasionally occur.
If an item is unavailable at the time of purchase, we will fulfill the available items and contact you to decide whether you prefer to wait for restock or receive a refund for the unavailable product.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order.
The shipping fee displayed at checkout is final and includes all handling costs.
3. Returns
3.1. Change of Mind (Switzerland only)
For customers within Switzerland, Alexander Sachs offers one free return per order, valid within 30 days of delivery.
Items must be unused, unwashed, in their original packaging, and in resellable condition.
Once received and approved, returns are refunded in the form of store credit for a future purchase. You will be notified by email once the process is completed.
The value of the returned goods will be refunded, but any paid shipping fees are non-refundable.
For international customers, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. The same conditions regarding item state and timeframe apply.
3.2. Warranty Returns
Alexander Sachs will honor any valid warranty claim submitted within 30 days of receipt.
For international customers, return are at the customers charge.
Once we receive the items, your claim will be processed within 7 business days.
If the claim is confirmed, you may choose one of the following options:
(a) Store credit
(b) Replacement item (subject to stock availability)
Note for EU customers: statutory consumer rights under EU law (such as the right of withdrawal) are fully respected and prevail where applicable.
4. Delivery Terms
4.1. Domestic Transit Time (Switzerland)
Domestic shipments are typically in transit for 1–2 business days with our DHL EXPRESS Services.
4.2. International Transit Time
International shipments are usually in transit for 2–7 business days, depending on the courier selected at checkout.
A more precise estimate is provided when choosing your shipping option.
4.3. Dispatch Time
Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days after payment.
Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday during regular business hours (excluding national holidays). We take every measure to minimize delays.
4.4. Change of Delivery Address
You may request a change of address any time before dispatch by contacting us promptly.
4.5. P.O. Box Shipping
Shipments to P.O. Boxes are available via postal services only. Courier services are not available for these addresses.
4.6. Military Addresses
We can ship to military addresses via postal services where permitted. Courier shipping may not be available.
4.7. Out-of-Stock Items
If an item is on backorder, available items in your order will be reserved until the out-of-stock product becomes available, unless you request otherwise.
4.8. Delivery Delays
If your delivery time exceeds the estimated timeframe, please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.
5. Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email to monitor your shipment’s progress in real time.
6. Parcels Damaged in Transit
If a parcel arrives damaged, please refuse delivery where possible and contact our customer service immediately.
If the parcel was delivered in your absence, please retain all packaging and take photos, then contact us for next steps.
7. Duties and Taxes
7.1. Sales Tax
Sales tax is included in product prices except for international shipments originating from Switzerland.
7.2. Import Duties & Taxes
All international orders may be subject to import duties, tariffs, and VAT set by the destination country.
These fees are based on the origin and classification of the products and are collected once your shipment reaches its destination.
Alexander Sachs does not collect these charges at checkout and cannot predict the total cost. Customers are responsible for all import-related charges required for customs clearance.
Unless otherwise specified, shipments are sent under DAP (Delivered At Place) terms.
For more information, please contact your local customs office. Carriers are assigned based on weight, restrictions, and service area ; specific carrier requests cannot be guaranteed.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled at any time before dispatch.
If your order has already shipped, please refer to the returns policy above.
9. Insurance
Parcels are insured against loss or damage up to the declared value stated by the carrier.
9.1. Damaged Parcels
A refund or replacement will be processed as soon as the courier’s investigation confirms the damage.
9.2. Lost Parcels
A refund or replacement will be processed once the parcel is officially declared lost by the courier.
